The entire procedure, with the LIPOCELL system, takes place in a single surgical time.
What is Lipocell?
With minimal “enzyme-free” manipulation, in a totally closed and aseptic system, we proceed to a progressive reduction of the adipose group and the elimination of oily and hematic residues with pro-inflammatory content.
The entire process is carried out thanks to a semi-permeable membrane that allows it to filter waste, minimizing any traumatic action on the cells.
LIPOCELL is characterized by keeping intact the cellular niche (vascular-stromal), which contains mesenchymal cells and pericytes. LIPOCELL obtains a purified adipose tissue, intended for autologous use.
The use of LIPOCELL is indicated to favor the natural regenerative process of the tissues and is indicated in multiple pathologies.
Osteoarthritis and musculoskeletal disorders are among the most important causes of pain and disability and have a major impact on quality of life.
The tissues involved in these pathologies have limited self-healing abilities and represent a challenge for specialists in this field.
Regenerative medicine is the key to solving problems at the biological level of tissue degeneration.
Adipose tissue is rich in mesenchymal cells, with regenerative potential, and the ability to promote spontaneous tissue healing.
Liposuction is performed under local anesthesia, sometimes accompanied by intravenous sedation. About 50 ml of adipose tissue are aspirated with a thin cannula to carry out its processing.
Once the surgical act is completed, it is recommended to wear a compressive bandage in the donor area, for approximately one week.
The Lipoaspirate is processed immediately in the operating field within a closed circuit device. After rapid processing, the product obtained is collected from the device and immediately implanted in the area to be treated.
