Chrondofiller is indicated for the treatment of defects caused by injuries or degeneration in all synovial joints (shoulder, knee, ankle, etc.).
It is a double-chamber syringe for applying liquid collagen to cartilage defects. After 3 to 5 minutes of injection, a stable gel is formed that covers all imperfections.

Cartilage repair

With Chondrofiller we have developed a new hope for the repair of cartilage lesions that are very difficult or almost impossible to repair because the cartilage lacks a blood supply to promote regeneration.

If the defect cannot heal on its own, it should be treated as soon as possible. Failure to do so can cause further damage, such as developing osteoarthritis, a degenerative condition that destroys joint cartilage, causing great pain and reducing mobility. Cartilage changes caused by trauma or disease usually cannot heal on their own.
Articular cartilage is a pressure-resistant tissue that covers the surface of the bone and is responsible for frictional movement, functioning as a shock absorber. Healthy articular cartilage (hyaline cartilage) is made up of water, protein, collagen, and aggrecan. Compared to other cartilaginous tissues, it is poor in cells and is not nourished by blood.
Chondrofiller is the new generation of biological cartilage implants. Pure acellular collagen, which means that only an arthroscopy or minimally invasive surgery is needed for the joint to regain its strength.
Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body and the main component of the skin, tendons and cartilage, which is why there is no other biological substance more effective in treating joint cartilage defects.
